WELCOME HOME

“Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, …”

Those are words from the prophet Zephaniah. They were a call to God’s people because the Lord knew the power of union and communion. The love of God shared and celebrated among us is our greatest witness of all. Jesus said that by this “shall all men know that you are my disciples” (John 13:35).”

For us in Greater Grace, Convention time is on our minds and hearts.

I would like to personally challenge all of us as pastors to lead our congregations in the faith. To ask them to seriously pray about attending our International Convention in Baltimore. For some they attend every year, for some once in a lifetime, for some once in 5 or 10 years. Last year, one Finnish family came who hadn’t been in 22 years. They had an awesome time. The issue, in my mind, is to hear from God, to believe, to trust and look to God. Let’s lead our people in faith. A group in church could book a flight. Some could pile in a car from Texas; others could jump in a van and come from Maine – come to meet sisters and brothers from around the world. We are praying.

This promises to be a life-changing, heart-stirring season. Make a point to be here, especially if you’ve never experienced Convention time before.

Gather and pray – we have a year of victory in front of us.
